This last weekend I held our annual team Stamp Camp in Rotorua! (We call ourselves the Creative Inkers team here in New Zealand). We had SO MUCH FUN! We had five creative classes plus several other business and personal enrichment options . . . I think we all left enthused, refueled and ready for new personal strides.
I did teach one of the creative classes and focused on the Botanical Prints Medley. I will share all the samples I made over the next little while, but today I wanted to share the project that everyone made at the camp:
This card was initially inspired by a softer, similar sample by Jackie Bultje. I changed it up a bit to add more contrast and texture.
What I loved about this card was the beautiful toile background, created with the extremely detailed stamps in the Botanical Prints Bundle. Simple stamp the images all over a square and . . amazing! I’ve used Gray Granite here.
We also used the Subtle Embossing Folder (a must!) after stamping to create a textured look, like a fabric one might find on an antique chair. Gorgeous.
The edging die is from an often-overlooked set called Delicate Lace Dies. It’s a set of three pretty little edges, perfect for combining with other sets.
Product ListThe Botanical Prints Medley includes the stamp set, dies, beautiful vintage papers, die cuts, laser cut sheets, gold bee embellishments, and Old Olive ribbon. Wow! More samples to come!
