Tammy Wilson is one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! designers of all time! Today’s project is inspired by one of hers, and I just kept playing around with it, coming up with variations:

What I like most about this Celebrate Sunflowers project are the non-traditional colors. I actually think that working with color is one of the best things about art and crafting – and here the sunflower is very neutral with the background bringing all the vibrancy to the card.

It was fun to come up with some different color combinations – here I’ve used Pool Party with So Saffron and then Magenta Madness with So Saffron. Do you like the Pinewood Planks or the Brick & Mortar background better?

This is probably my favorite of the bunch: Seaside Spray with Bumble Bee and the new Blue Faceted Gems.

The Artistry Blooms Adhesive Sequins are a fast favorite in my craft room – the colors in these gems seems to blend in with quite a few of the Stampin’ Up! colors each. And they are super easy to apply!!

Trying using your Sunflower die in a new way! They don’t have to be yellow . . . or even several layers. Happy crafting!
Thanks for stopping by today! ~ Jacque
