Welcome to another blog hop with the All Star Design Team! This month we are all featuring the Beautiful Gallery Suite, my personal favorite in the new 2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.
This project is an 8×8 scrapbook layout featuring the Mosaic Tile Technique—a fun and eye-catching way to use up your scraps!
If you’re a traditional 12×12 scrapbooker, feel free to build out this layout with extra layers and background to fit your usual size.
Not a scrapbooker? No problem! You can easily adapt this idea into a card front, a decorative box top, or even turn it into a framed gift. The smaller size makes it perfect for personal, handmade touches that make someone’s day.
I paired the Beautiful Gallery papers (LOVE these) with the Sunrise Sailing dies. The water or “waves” are made with one of the side B’s of the Beautiful Gallery papers for a more vintage, masculine effect. It’s a great way to use those gorgeous papers beyond florals.
I made the water using the Mosaic Tile Technique – a really simple one that adds a lot of interest to a project, without adding weight nor thickness.
I also die cut the sails of the boats right out of the Beautiful Gallery papers, and I just adore how these look. That printed texture looks fantastic for these “canvas” sails, and the color is just right to tone in with the water.
