If you are coming to our big scrapbook day next weekend, Don't Look! (smiles)

My page here was a pleasure to make with the fun, new images and colour combinations!  There's just something so inspiring about having a new toy. . . which is probably why this hobby is so addictive! 

The page layout was inspired by Becky Flick at www.pagemaps.com – a great site for inspiration. I was going for clean & vivid just for something different. 

I hesitated a looooong moment before putting black legs on Ms. Bird, but I think it looks just right in the end.  I did add a dash of yellow to the mix for the beak, because I thought a blue beak might just look like Ms. Freezing Bird rather than swimming pool bird.  What do you think?

The flowers were a cool embellishment using two sizes of oval punch.  You can even use the "off cut" centres as flowers, too, but I felt they were too visually heavy for this layout.

Colours Used:  Riding Hood Red, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Basic Black, Barely Banana Other:  B&W gingham ribbon, two sizes of the oval punches, 3/4 circle punch
