I love teaching scrapbooking classes because the participants take a general concept and technique and make it their own. I was SO impressed with what the ladies came up with last class that I asked to take pics of their creations and share them here.
The original layout can be seen here.
Given the same supplies and using their own themes and photos, this is what was created:
Narelle made the above layout with one of her wedding photos. I love how she's tied in the title and the subtitle with the &.
She did a particularly nice job of photo altering with the flowers and the sky.
I would have never guessed, but I LOVE the red and yellow combo here. (RH Red and So Saffron used). Victoria did a stunning job with her colour choices and photography! I just want to squeeze that face!
We all oohed and ahhed over how this scroll done in Whisper White turned out on the photo. Oh, just divine. It really lends to the vintage look without distressing. The So Saffron looks Gold and it's just perfect!!
Leigh designed a page featuring a picture of her cheerleading team having a prayer right before they got on stage to compete. Such a cool photo! And her title choice just absolutely right.
The titles were all cut out using the Timeless Type alphabet and the Big Shot. Leigh has coloured in just a hint of red (their team colour) on each hair bow. Just the right amount of accent.
These were so awesome I just had to share. I hope you've enjoyed them too and are inspired to alter a B&W photo and use this versatile layout!
