A Fun Alternative Srapbooking Design Using the Meant to Bee Kit!

The Meant to Bee Scrapbooking Workshop Kit is already packed with creative possibilities, but this alternative layout gives you another way to use it. Instead of following the kit’s standard design, I played with the hexagon shapes to create a bee-inspired patchwork effect, bringing extra layers and interest to the page.

For this project, I challenged myself to work exclusively with the consumable supplies from the first Meant to Bee Scrapbooking Kit double-page layout suggestion, stepping up the original design while ensuring there were still plenty of materials left to complete the remaining four pages.

I also incorporated the Meant to Bee stamp and die bundle, which allowed me to create these bold hexagon shapes. However, in the Meant to Bee Scrapbooking Class to Go, I’ll guide you step by step on how to adapt the design using the supplies you have—whether or not you own the coordinating dies.

This layout works beautifully with hexagons, but you can just as easily achieve a stunning result using other shapes. I’ll show you exactly how to make it your own!

Here’s a little sneak peek of the second page to this double page spread. I think my favorite detail is actually the little Petunia Pop swirly lines behind the bees. So cute!
