The Magic of a White Gel Pen: with Flowers Fair
I had a lot of fun preparing today’s project and video, all featuring the new white gel pen! We had these many years ago, and I have asked for them quite a few times since. I’ve missed them! Today’s project features one way you can use them, and I’ve used the Flowers Fair stamp to showcase this technique:
I heat embossed a portion of the Flowers Fair background stamp on a slim piece of Crumb Cake. Even just like that, it’s beautiful. But I kept going.
Next, I used the Watercolor Pencils to color in those flowers, even on colored cardstock. Of course, the background affects the color, but the watercolor pencils do a great job of staying fairly opaque and working on nearly any color of card base.

Once the flowers were dry, I used the White Gel Pen to hand draw some simple stitching lines around the card front, including through the flowers. It’s a detail that doesn’t jump out, but it really does add a nice finish.
Order your White Gel Pen, or add it to your cart so you don’t forget to get this fantastic addition to your tool kit. They come in a pack of two – one for your craft bag and one for home!
