It’s time for another color challenge kick off in the Colour Inkspiration Challenge Group! Join in the fun with your creation or simply enjoy the creations of others, each interpreting the color palette in a unique way.
For the next two weeks, everyone will be uploading their projects with this soft color combination:
The picture itself is very 80’s, but I love this color combination.
I decided to use this soft color palette with the new Sweetest Cherries Bundle for something that little bit unexpected with a cherry punch:
My card shape of choice is square. I just love the slightly large size. I adapted this design from a card I did probably ten years ago. Don’t you just love when you can revamp something with current product and fresh, new colors?
I loved mixing both the stamps (two step stamping for the leaves) and the punched images for a multi-colored, 3 dimensional effect.
I added just a brush of gold embossing powder to the bottom of those cherries for a bit more depth and texture. One could use clear powder instead, but I liked how the gold worked with the gold sequins.

Please also enjoy this short video showcasing even more ideas with the Sweetest Cherries bundle, such a cute one for non-floral cards. Plus don’t we just love the bundles that have punches?! Subscribe to my YouTube channel for more tips and project ideas!
