I’ve been trying my hand a double layouts recently, and I do like how many photos can fit across a spread! When I was designing my share today, I had the new Dragonfly Dreams on my table and just had to use it! (This stamp set available to order 3 January!)
The story behind these funny pictures is Sofie vehemently denying she had taken a drink from my smoothie. So the above words from Dragonfly Dreams were perfect.
I’ve also used the Ghoulish Grunge stamp set here for the brick accent and the Pretty Pines Thinlit Dies for accents.
I chose something of an unusual colour combination to coordinate with the purple smile; most of the students in my scrapbooking class last month used Night of Navy to accent rather than the Elegant Eggplant. Either looks great – it’s all about bringing out the photos and the story.
The Labeler Alphabet is a goodie for any project – particularly for scrapping. And it’s a great price!
It’s always good design practice to carry the accents and/or colours through the project, so on the second page is a “mini version” of the larger embellishment on the first page.
