Hi , my friends! I am really pumped to share the amazing Merriest Moments Bundle with you today. It’s my second favorite in the July-Dec Mini Catalogue (fav being the Whimsy & Wonder Suite), and has such a flavor of elegance and festivity about it.
In today’s post, I’ll share with you three of the ways you can use the dies and embossing folder in combination:
First, use just the embossing folder as an embossing folder. I have to say, this is such a fun folder to use, not only with this bundle, but with many other images. (See the video below for quite a few other ideas. There’s also this one here that I forgot to include in the video).
Note how the stitched rectangle die included in the Merriest Moments dies nests perfectly with the embossing folder. You could, of course, also use this die on its own without the folder – just as a label on its own.
The next way to use this bundle is to actually nest the die INTO the folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (die cutter). This cuts AND embosses all in one pass, which is great when you’re short on time or just value tremendous efficiency.
You can see this is basically the same/similar card, just using the products in a different way.
And a third way to combine the Merriest Moments dies and folder is to die cut the detailed die first, then run it through the embossing folder. While this is them two steps, the results are spectacular.
See this done on foil in the video below.
Some of the Stampin’ Up! ribbons allows cutting in half, fraying, and basically taking them apart. I’ll show you how to get those little gold strands with the Shimmer Gold Ribbon I’ve tucked under the flower in the video below. It’s a great way to use those few inches of ribbon you may have cut off after tidying up a bow!
I really enjoyed making samples with the Merriest Moments Bundle. More samples to come! This one is also a good deal when bought as a bundle because you get 10% off the stamp set, the dies, and the folder!
Please enjoy this video showcasing this fantastic set of products. I always appreciate comments, too – and please subscribe to my channel for more tips and inspiration!
Thanks so much for joining me today in my stamping studio! I look forward to seeing you again! ~ Jacque Williams
