Today’s share was a favorite of the Mosaic Tile Technique cards I made, this one featuring the Layers of Beauty stamps and masks. I just love these roses, and it was just so fun to make an extra-special project.
A happy discovery: Pretty in Pink and the new Strawberry Slush (coming 6 May, 2025) work together beautifully for these gorgeous, pink roses.

These roses are so easy to color in; you can color them in a traditional way of your choosing, or you can use the Layers of Beauty masks. All you do is lay the mask down over the stamped image, and blend color through for very quick coloring with perfect shading. Beautiful results every time!

For the Mosaic Tile technique, the concept is simple: cut apart a stamped panel, and put it back together with small gaps. You do this in with squares, rectangles, or even in a brick pattern. See the video below for a quick demonstration, as well as sample of other ways you can use this technique.
I loved the roses so much, I was inspired to carry these beauties right onto the envelope for a very special enclosure. I just love it!
