Today’s share is inspired by the very talented Rochelle Blok, but with my own twist on it!
I wanted a very soft background for my stamped Hydrangea image; the Sahara Sand cardstock itself felt a little too dark. So I experimented with Shimmery White cardstock and the Blending Brushes:
I blended and stamped both with Sahara Sand. As you can see, they each give quite a different application of ink and color! As an added bonus to controlling the intensity, one can also achieve such nice shading variation. I love how this turned out.
Download, print, or shop from the supply list for this project. In addition, you can buy the kit!
The kit for this project is included in my Hydrangea Hill Class in the mail! You will receive three different project kits (see the other two here and here) along with PDF instructions. All pieces are pre-cut for assembly or die cutting (you will need the Hydrangea bundle or similar to complete, or you can purchase in the options below):
I look forward to sharing many more Blending Brush techniques with you! Don’t forget to pull them out next time you need a customized color for your stamping!
Thanks for stopping by my stamping studio today! ~ Jacque Williams
