Perennial Birthday is a whimsical, fun set of images! This one pairs with the Perennial Birthday Card Kit, but today I am choosing to use this on its own. So versatile beyond the kit!
You can create the peek-a-boo window using three punches and layering them in order. This makes a nice frame for the simple stamped image.
I made the card just 3 1/2 inches wide so the punches could be pushed basically all the way “to the back” and end up at about the center of the card. Plus, it’s always nice to have a card that is a little different size and shape!
As you can see, the flower image is actually on the inside, but shows through the front through our framed window. Cute!
When you stamp the inside sentiment (or anything else you wish), just make sure it’s positioned so it doesn’t show through the window when the card is closed.
This one is quick to put together, but with the right image and colours, very effective! Supply list below.
