The Stampin’ Up! catalogues are wonderful places for inspiration and ideas! Today’s card is taken nearly directly from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalouge (page 54). I thought it was so beautiful, yet simple – perfect for my upcoming Christmas Stamp-A-Stack 27 or 28 October:
As you can see, the Tin Tile Embossing Folder makes an interesting background:
I jazzed it up a bit with the new Shimmer Paints for some old world detail. Just love it; I hope this folder sticks around after the catalogue ends end of December!
Merry Merlot seems to be my “red” of choice this season. I’ve just tucked a few greenery pieces from the First Frost die set behind the main label for a simple embellishment.
Join me in Birkenhead on the 27th or the 28th of October (drop in anytime between 9:30 and 5pm) to make this card plus 3 other designs (12 cards in total of four designs) for $35. Email me to book in.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi there! I believe it was called Warm Hearted. It was a host set. 🙂

Just love this card. Will go back and check catalog out. Have the Dies and embossing folder to make. Thank you for sharing. Wish I could have come to your event. Would love to visit your country. I am in North Carolina which is on East coast of US.

Thank you!

Hi Cindy – I used actually a spritzer bottle. 🙂 I put some ink refill into the bottle with water and a bit of the shimmer paint. 🙂

Hello!
I’m wondering how you have added the red to the card base. Did you add it to the embossing folder or to the cardstock with a sponge dauber?
Thank you – Cindy
