Honeybee Home is a beautful bundle, full of floral and honey bee images! Although it’s not technically part of the Honeybee Suite, the Hive 3D embossing folder really goes perfectly with these images.
This card is fairly similar to one I shared a few weeks ago, but this one is much “stepped up” with a hand painted background. We made this project at the recent Tauranga Extravaganza event, and the guests loved it! Each one was a unique work of art.

The background here is actually watercolored with Tahitian Tide, and then toned down with Sahara Sand Ink. I love how this turned out!
Many people commented how they had always used the other side of this particular embossing folder. Use either side you prefer! It’s always fun when a folder has such different looks to each side, giving more creative options.

Don’t always feel like you have to stay within the lines when watercoloring. Personally, I think particularly when the outline is white on white paper, it can be quite effective to not have a white border. Rather, go ahead and color outside the lines and then cut out!
This is a great, easy technique when you want to color quickly or don’t have the patience to color in precisely.
