Today’s share is a layout I designed many months ago, but have just finished sharing it with my classes due to the lockdown here in New Zealand. I wanted to try an ombre look with the Small Bloom Punch:
It looks overwhelming, but in reality, it doesn’t actually take that long to punch out the little flowers. I used the colours Cajun Craze, Terracotta Tile, and Petal Pink.
The colours were chosen to coordinate with the photos from this fun photo shoot with my daughters – taken before Kjirsti left for the Philippines July 2019.
I also used the Beautiful Moments stamp set, but just the words for this one. I requested words in the set specifically that could be also used for scrapbooking, so of course I had to do a layout with them. They really are perfect.
And the white embossing on the Night of Navy is such a great look – add just a touch of inking around the edges for a denim pocket sort of feel. These framed shapes are from the super-useful Ornate Frames die set.
And last, I added quite a large splash of the gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones to the pages as well as a few of the TINY butterflies from the Butterfly Beauty die set (amazingly, you get ten of these little butterflies in that die set).
