For today’s project, I wanted to make a “summer Christmas” card, or something with brighter colors, and I reached for the Forever Forest Bundle. However, one could change up the colors and/or change the sentiment to make this versatile design work for you.
I used the mountain die in the Forever Forest bundle to create a simple mask for the sky and ground. I inked up the sky in Coastal Cabana for a fresh afternoon effect.
The ground was inked in Lemon Lime Twist. Because the ground is green, I wanted something very high contrast for the trees.
So I went with Berry Burst! I actually really love this color. I might not wear it, but it’s really bright and fun with a lot of color combinations.
These trees are from the Forever Forest die set. I like that the trees are a bit whimsical, perfect for a happy card like this.

I designed and taught this project at my recent Extravaganza events, so I don’t have a video for this one.
But please do enjoy this video about masking in general.
