I had fun making various projects with the faux tile technique, and today’s share pairs that easy idea with the new Trucking Along Bundle. This time, instead of making the tile effect the main image, I’m using it as an interesting background technique.
The tile effect is subtle for this one because the image stamped over the effect is a line art image, rather than solid. But I like this effect, too.
See the first card I made with a solid image for a more dramatic effect here.
The truck can be colored in with the medium of your choice or, like here, it can be stamped with the solid truck image for very quick coloring. I also added a bit of the Fine Tip Glue Pen to the windows for a bit of shine and dimension.
I just love the beach theme on the back of the truck. This will make a tremendous Christmas card here in the South Pacific.
