My girls are home as of yesterday, so life is back to it's usual explosive clip. It was wonderful to have a reunion with them after nearly three weeks of being away. They had a fantastic time and came home with new clothes, lots of junk food, and sunburns.
So my slack days are over; I'll get back into my routine and post more regularly on here as well.
Today I wanted to share a layout I did for a neat scrapbooking group a few weeks ago. I got this little card as a swap from the lovely Jan Dolan of Hamilton:
I just love the simplicity combined with subtle detail – my favourite look at the moment. I knew when I saw this that I had to make it into a scrapbooking layout. My class requested a Christmas theme, but of course, this can be easily non-Christmas by eliminating the snow and witching up the pictures and colours:
We had a good laugh getting those trees on. Many of us ended up with them 'blowing in the breeze" . I adore this little set and am glad it's sticking around for another year.
However, my favourite Real Red Gingham ribbon is not; order that one now while it's still around.
And how do you like the snow? I love it!! That chunky glitter is a really big impact item – just perfect for a snow drift!

What a fun layout Jacque. I can see why your ladies loved it. That glitter really does make the page look lovely and wintry. Really like the card too 🙂
