Today’s share is the third version of the 6×6 One Sheet Wonder I shared for World Cardmaking Day – this time using the Sweet Stockings papers. One side of these papers has cute Christmas dogs and cats, and the other side has the small, more neutral prints – perfect for a One Sheet Wonder.

The dark Cherry Cobbler with Pool Party is such a striking color combinations – I love it! The “other” side of the Sweet Stockings papers can be used all year round, not just for Christmas. I could use a whole pack of that Pool Party lattice print.
Did you know you can use your Stampin’ Write markers to ink up your stamps (rather than an ink pad)? By doing this, you can create a multi-colored image like these ones! As a side benefit, using markers to ink an image also means you can ink up just part of the image.
For example, if I just wanted the word “friends” in the above sentiment, I could easily just ink that part of the stamp. Please note this technique does not work with Stampin’ Blends; you must use Stampin’ Write markers, the original water-based markers.
It can be left plain, of course, but I often use an embossing folder on card backgrounds. I used the Merry Melody folder here, one I’ve found doesn’t compete too much with the other elements on a project. Although the music is Silent Night, who would know that? You could use it for a happy birthday card, too!
