I had so much fun playing with the new Daisy Garden background stamp! Well, it can be a background or it can be the focal point. It’s a gorgeous, large stamp that you can use with or without coloring. I’ve shown you a few sample ideas in the video below.
For today’s share, I wanted to show an idea where the Daisy Garden image is colored, but only a small portion. This makes for a fast and easy project if you’re only coloring in a few inches! Plus it gives your project a very strong focal point.
In this sample, I’ve used Poppy Parade and Pool Party as a striking color combination.
And in this companion sample, I used Pool Party with Pale Papaya. It’s quite a different look.
For the words, I’ve used the Many Happenings stamp set, paired with the Messages die. I’m finding it REALLY great to stamp once, cut once, and have a large selection of pre-done words, ready for my next project!
In the video below, I’ll share just a few basic tips for using the Stampin’ Blends (alcohol based markers). It makes a huge difference to color in the “background” when doing this particular spotlight technique.

Thanks, Christine! I do teach classes and you are welcome to attend. https://www.stamphappy.co.nz/calendar. If you’d like a kit sent to you, I can make you up some, but we are not legally allowed to pre-stamp them. You’ll need to also purchase the Daisy Garden stamp (or similar). 🙂
