You are now in New Zealand at Jacque Williams’ blog – welcome! I’d love to share with you today another beautiful project with the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set, but this time in Night of Navy:
I feel this particular stamp set lends itself to more simple designs, making it the perfect one to grab when you need a card in a hurry or something not too fussy, such as for a wedding or a funeral. The image pretty much speaks for itself without too much more embellishing.
I’ve added a little embossing with the Petal Pairs Embossing Folder. You could use Crumb Cake or Soft Suede for the word, but I’ve used the backside of the Foil Frenzy papers. (I know it’s a crying shame to not use the foil side, but I wanted this rich, almost copper, brown colour).
And do you want copper rhinestones and pearls? Simply colour them in with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends marker! That marker will transform your standard embellishments into something more metallic looking for perfect project coordination.
While I had everything out on my table, I tried another version more with silver, which I think is as nice, although more subdued. I’ve used the Silver Foil here for the die cut word.
I’m confident you will find a lot of use and success with the Heartfelt Bloom stamp set. And even better, you get this one FREE with any order of $110 through me during February and March (other options available as well). Supply list below.
