It’s time for another blog hop with the All Star Design Team! This month we are featuring the Splendid Autumn Suite.
My share today focuses on the Splendid Autumn papers. This pack of papers is a beautiful set of painted, Autumn images with a canvas-like “solid” color on the back.
Using picture-type papers can be tricky. I find it’s best to keep it simple:
For this project, I chose this lovely wheat print, cut my selection into a square, and then split the square into quarters for a window frame effect. I sanded the edges just slightly to add a bit of a frosty feel to it as well.
Gold embossing is a great fit for both this Autumnal color scheme and for the whole mood of the suite. I felt there was already a lot of color in the papers, so I just went for black as a contrast.
Add a few of the cute die cut leaves and a bit of the Wild Wheat ribbon to add a little dimension and interest, too.
If you’d like even more ideas with the Splendid Autumn Suite, the All Star Design team has created a 12 Project Splendid Autumn Video Class just for you! Each project includes cutting measurements in both imperial and metric, a supply list, photos, and a step-by-step video so you can make the most of your Splendid Autumn suite!
Just $22.50 NZD (about $14.50 USD)
Enjoy the rest of the hop!
