Today’s share is one of the projects from my very last Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team for 2024, and we ended with a fun one! I loved working with the Umbrella Days stamps and dies, and right away had this black and white idea in mind:
This colorful idea takes inspiration from art where everything is black, white, and gray except for the rain. Here, the rain is brought to life with a vibrant rainbow palette, stamped using the Brights Stampin’ Write Markers. It might look time-consuming, but creating this stunning background took only about three minutes!

I used Smoky Slate and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends to color the person, adding subtle details with the Color Lifter. The umbrella was die-cut from Neutrals Designer Series Paper and finished with a layer of clear embossing for a perfect ‘wet’ effect.
It’s all about the little details, and I love how they came together!
