Quick Coloring Tips with Stampin’ Blends with Simply Beautiful
Today’s project is a quick one, and it gives you a little sneak peek at the upcoming Simply Beautiful stamp set (arriving January 2026). I’m also slipping in a few easy Stampin’ Blends tips—perfect if you’re just getting started or if those markers still feel a bit mysterious.

For this sample, I used Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Granny Apple Green, and Smoky Slate.
There are many ways to use the Stampin’ Blends, and today I’m just showing you one way. Feel free to experiment and see which effect you like best.

One little trick I come back to every time I use Stampin’ Blends—especially on clean and simple cards—is adding a soft outline around the image. A quick sweep with Light Smoky Slate or Light Gray Granite doesn’t scream for attention, but it quietly lifts the whole design. It gives the artwork a bit more presence without cluttering things up… almost like a subtle shadow that makes everything look more finished.
Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend = almost a must in your collection!
