Quick Card with the Berry Botanical Vellum + Video Reel

Today’s share is quick go-to card idea, and it was perfect for showcasing the beautiful Berry Botanical Vellum. I kept it all very quick and simple, but added some enhancements to the vellum with both the new Shimmer Pens and the White Gel Pen:

Both the Shimmer Pens and the White Gel pen work quite well on something non-porous (such as vellum, foil, etc) because they both dry by evaporation rather than by absorbing.

It was nearly impossible to capture in a photograph, but the blue flowers and yellow berries both have a nice shimmer to them now. And the white additions to the print really lift it.

Here is a side by side of “as is”, and jazzed up a bit. You can see how I’ve added the white gel pen to the berries and the flower centers. I didn’t here, but one could even use a light Blender Pen, such as Pool Party, on the backside to give the whole print a blue background rather than white/translucent.
