Today’s share is a fun, simple idea on how to use your 6×6 patterned papers (Designer Series Paper) to make card fronts without any leftovers! Plus it’s an idea that comes together quite quickly:

The idea is that the 6×6 paper is cut in two diagonal lines, giving you four trapezoid shapes for use on a card front. It does give the card a dramatic look with the diagonal lines, so I’ve kept the rest of it reasonably simple.
I’ve used the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper in the samples.

In the video below, I’ll demonstrate how to cut this easily, as well as how to use each piece if you have a print that has an “up and a down” direction to it.

I chose to use the cat and the dog punch to make the cardsquick and easy! I added the Playful Pets Twine as well as those super cute Playful Pets Trinkets for that little bit of extra detail.

There are so many variations to this quick card idea! Please enjoy the video below, and subscribe to my channel for even more inspiring videos!

Thank you so much for the template on how to cut the diagonal pieces.
I really like that look but I have struggled to create it.
Your cards are really cute.
Thanks so much!
You are most welcome! I had the same issue, so glad it helped someone, too. xx
