Welcome to the Global Video Hop for August! This month we are featuring embossing folder techniques, and I want to share my technique ideas with you while also showing you the Puzzle Card!
I chose to use the Whale Done Suite for this demonstration (video below), but will also show you a few other examples, too.
I’ve used the Whale Done Suite, including the Seabed Embossing Folder for these fun Puzzle Cards! The embossing folder has been inked before running it through the die cutter. Here’s a look at some different inking effects:
In the video below, I’ll go through some of the ways you can add ink to your embossed cardstock.
And I’ll show you this fun puzzle card idea – something you can make differently every time while showcasing your favorite patterned papers and embossing folders!
I made some simple labels with the Tasteful Labels dies set (such a useful set with so much variety in label shapes and sizes) and stamped with the Whale Done stamp set. Don’t you love this cute font?? Perfect for a kid’s card!
