Last January, Rob and I had the opportunity to run up to Russell (north north Island) for the weekend and use a friend’s bach. My eldest, Madeleine, surprised us and wanted to go with. It was a fun day, doing what we pleased and enjoying each other’s company. On a whim, we dressed up and had this spontaneous photo shoot:
The colours we wore were perfect for the Fresh Prints stack, so I wanted to get this done before they are deleted in a few weeks!!
The background is a series of the Hexagon Punch with a simple banner using the Pennant Punch.
This flower is made from our lovely Linen Thread, one of my favorite and “most consumed” products.
Sadly, the Fabulous Phrases set is also being retired – one that I’ve used quite a bit for both cardmaking and scrapbooking layouts. Here, I’ve white embossed it and flagged the end using the Banner Punch.
A title using the Typeset Alphabet and a sprinkle of Gold Sequins finishes this one nicely.
It was a great day – I’m very pleased to have captured this special memory.
