The day started early for me because I had a bit more work to do on the swaps. Jared, even with a sore throat, was kind and rolled out of bed to help me. Lucky we found a German news station for him to watch while he put brads through flowers . . .
But they did turn out cute! I was pleased with our efforts, and it was a family effort. All three of my girls had a turn colouring in the little album included inside these tins. They sure looked adorable all stacked up and ready to go.
Everyone did an amazing job with their swaps! Truly, the talent and creativity out there is astounding. The fantastic return for my swaps makes all the hours worth it! I'll blog those next week and will also have them with me during workshops and classes.
We spent the morning as a group doing make and takes with Shelli Gardner. I really liked all three projects – and we got to use some new up and coming product! I am not certain what I am allowed to reveal at this point, so I will just keep my fingers restrained as I type . . . but at least know that there's some great product coming up!!
We took a few minutes to take a group shot of the acheiving demonstrators and our leaders during make and takes. And as we finished up the projects, a freezer full of ice cream and toppings was delivered to the patio. And WOW, was it beautiful! I took a shot of this before anyone had any – so beautiful and yummy, I am sure. (I had a small bowl of the strawberries and then moved far away from the freezer).
The afternoon was spent at the gym, at the pool, taking a nap, and general lazing about. Jared and I took a long walk along the waterfront until it was too dark, then we went out to a Mexican dinner with Rachael and Patrice and their husbands.
The day ended with another special delivery, this time packaged up in a beautiful wooden bowl and filled with kitchen treasures. I am not sure if there is a hidden meaning here or if we'll need these things for tomorrow night's surprise activity . . . . tune in tomorrow to find out!
Lots of Love,
