I was so impressed when I saw a little box like this at the Hamilton Extravaganza! Sorry I don't recall who had it made, but it was one of my lovely team members.
I was teaching the Petal Cone Box (posted last week), and I was struck by how clever somebody out there was to make such a cute box out of the very same die!!
The tip of the cone is cut off and the ends folded under to make the bottom. The flaps are folded in like a box top and done!
I wanted to wrap the belly band around the box, but the unique noodle box shape makes that more difficult that it's worth, so around the top it went!
Love how this flower turned out – simple punches and die cut stickers finished it off. And the glimmer brads sure are popular amongst my customers! Have you seen them in real life? They are pretty cool.
You're all wondering where that dsp came from, I'm sure. It's from the same place as the die cut sticker flower: the Tickets and Tags Scrapping kit. I had it sitting here on my desk with full intentions of becoming thank you cards. Well, it just called to me to be used for this wee box.
The good news is the Petal Cone Die is 10% off for a few more days! Order yours at the special $65.65 price!
