This month for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop, we are each showcasing the new In Colors (Copper Clay, Pebbled Path, Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, and Wild Wheat). I chose to focus on Copper Clay, Pebbled Path, and Wild Wheat as an autumnal color combination:
For this project, I used the pretty Gorgeous Garden dies. They make such a nice background or card front.
I started by blending the three colors of Pebbled Path, Copper Clay, and Wild Wheat onto a piece of thick Basic White with a Blending Brush.
Next I spritzed a bit of plain water onto the inking to create a few droplets.
Once dry, simply cut with either of the Gorgeous Garden dies.
Watch me make this card in the short video below.
I made another version of this card with the floral die in the Gorgeous Garden die set. For this one, I also changed the colors to Copper Clay, Cajun Craze, and Petal Pink for more of a monochromatic ombre effect.
With such a pretty Gorgeous Garden die background, I prefer to keep the other details of the project fairly simple so they compliment, but not detract.
The label is from the Fancy Sayings stamp set and cut with the Something Fancy label die set.
