Welcome to the new Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue!
Yesterday I finally got some time to crack open the new goodies from the Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue! It was fun to have a play! I was very impressed with the new Framelits Dies – the nesting shapes make it easy to make mats and layers perfectly as featured here:
The request at the West Harbour class yesterday was to do an Acetate Card, which are fun to do. Easy enough once you get your head around making sandwiches and layers to hide adhesive.
This is a beautiful flower stamp from the Mixed Bouquet set, which coordinates perfectly with the new Blossom Punch.
We used the oldie-but-goodie Rock & Roll Technique to acheive two mixed colours on the image – a sublte and lovely technique when used with similar colours.
The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake, a huge set with all sorts of birthday wishes. We embossed this in white to help it stand out on the printed papers. It's nice sometimes to stamp on the coloured paper and use the white as the mat. . .
