I love both monochromatic and watercoloring, and today’s project features both! Inspired by Gail Ellis to combine the new Framed Florets dies with the Merriest Moments folder, they work together beautifully for an elegant Christmas or wedding card.
As you can see, all of the elements are done in Basic White except for the beautiful watercolored flowers. The oval frames work perfectly with the Merriest Moments embossing folder with its spray of foliage.
To keep consistent with the mood of the project, I felt a dark outline would be too harsh. Instead, I’ve white embossed the outline of the flowers for a softer look.
The flowers are colored in with Merry Merlot and Basic Gray, a personal favorite colour combination. The arrangement of these flowers to fit around the oval was inspired by Sue Vine.
Stamp the words from Framed and Festive also in Merry Merlot to coordinate.

This is the prettiest card (well, one of them!) that I’ve seen all season! Also, I tried subscribing to your feed but get prompts telling me my email address isn’t in a format to subscribe. Please let me know hot to subscribe. Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much, Cassie! Possibly there is just a space or a period where there shouldn’t be. Welcome! 🙂
