Welcome to another Grand Vacation Achiever’s Blog Hop! This month our theme is “All You Need is Love” – such an easy one for crafty people to do. One of my favorites in the new Occasions Catalogue is the Love at First Sight set; I’m always partial to flourishes.
This idea has rattled around in my head since I received this set:
This colour combo is a sure winner every time: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Real Red, and Very Vanilla.
Tips:
~ All the hearts are stamped in Versamark, but only one heat embossed
~ Yes, that is real stitching. Coincidentally, I was working on my very large mending pile and the machine was out. You could also do Faux Stitching with the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.
~ I carefully separated the Forever and the Friends (with scissors) image so I can use them together or separately. You can also just use an Early Espresso Marker and ink up just the part you want.
This card is a lean 8 1/4 by 3 1/2 inches, so I custom-made an envelope with the Envelope Punch Board (if you don’t have one of these magic tools, it’s a MUST). Finish off the envelope with some stamping and a fun pop of a red liner.
Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of the blog hop!
You’ve pushed me over the edge – I must get a sewing machine to stitch my cards. I love this card. TFS
