Likely the most difficult cards to design . . masculine! And a Valentine to boot!
Inspired by the beautiful elements from Nicki Tidbold's swap, I set out to design a card for the men in our lives.
I have used a double card design here for added interest. The concept is simple – make a smaller, coordinating card and adhere to the front of your main card, which gives you lots of room for writing love notes (or for an invitation!). I told my ladies that were here for class that if you didn't have much to say, then just do some conveniently extra stamping inside the cards!
This card uses a neat trick with the crimper. First, run your card through one way, turn it 90 degrees, and run it through again. Repeat until you have the texture you would like.
The buckles or hinges here is the Designer Label punch turned sideways. Love it!
The hearts used here are great for Masculine Valentine because they are not toooo girly. They are from the set Polka Dot Punches and you can only get this set for FREE during Sale-A-Bration (running through the end of the month) with any qualifying order or workshop. I love the punched tin look of these stamps. And the fact that they coordinate with the punches makes them extra easy to use!
Yes, you still have time to get this set before Valentine's Day! Email me to get yours sent out today!
