June All Stars Blog Hop – Sea of Textures

Welcome to the monthly All Stars Tutorial Blog Hop! You’ve landed at Jacque Williams’ blog in Auckland, New Zealand, and I am happy to have you here!

My share this month is a 12×12 scrapbook page!  I teach monthly scrapbooking classes, and I do love to both have these in my own collection, but I also really love to see how people change up the designs to fit their own photos and styles.  I have chosen to use the Seat of Textures bundle in both this project and the exclusive project in the June Tutorial Bundle (you can purchase below or get this free with any $50 NZD order with me during May):

I just LOVE the Wood Textures Designer Series Papers, as you may have noticed it popping up so often!  In this layout, I have cut it into strips, mixed up the prints and even inked a few of them to create that beachy, washed look.

 

And it looks amazing to stamp or layer on top of the wood.  I’ve used the new Laser Cut Specialty Paper to create vines.

The die cuts that go with this bundle are so adorable!  I just love these teeny tiny fish.  A tip here is to leave them in the die when you cut them out, place a tiny dot of glue on the back of each one, and then push them out directly onto your project.    Alternatively, you can simply adhere the Adhesive Backed Sheets on the back of your Real Red cardstock before you cut and they are ready to go.
