I like the look of a clean and simple card, and today’s project is a simple design you could use with the Hydrangea Haven dies, or with any leftover cut outs you may have. The Watercolor Shapes stamp set creates a quick and easy background to enhance a simple design:

Hydrangeas are one of my personal favorite flowers, so I have used this particular die set quite a lot. I didn’t want to waste a single die cut of these pretty images!
I stamped the larger rectangle shape from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set, and then also added the Stitched with Whimsy die over the top. These dies are a little unique in that they don’t cut out a shape, but rather add a stitching detail to your project.

The petals in the hydrangea die are the pop up style. This means they don’t cut all the way through, but can be pushed up from behind to create dimension. It’s nice to ink the edges to really bring out the texture, too.
