Today’s share is a project inspired by Yolanda Johnstone and her simple, elegant sympathy card. I loved how she used the Dandelion Embossing Folder over several layers, and recreated it in a different colour scheme:

Sometimes those embossing folders that are “images” are a bit harder to use as a background, so why not make them the focal point! I’ve layered the Peony Garden papers with Very Vanilla and the Champagne Foil, and then embossed over all three.

This layout and design idea also works quite well with the Magnolia Embossing Folder.

These images and design do lend themselves nicely as a sympathy card, and it’s really good to have a few on hand. Or at least a design idea that can be done quickly.
I made the label with the Tasteful Labels dies, embossed the words out of the Here’s a Card set, and embellished with the Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon and the Champagne Rhinestones.
