I had fun going back to a more vintage look for this project featuring the new Prettiest Medallion background stamp. It reminds me of the Swallowtail stamp we had years ago, one that I just used and adored so much. Today’s share features a fun technique of creating an ombre effect using your Stamparatus:
The Global Video Hop challenge was to showcase the new In Colors. Personally, I don’t feel that because five colors were chosen as top trends means they all necessarily work together (definitely possible, though!), so I chose to focus on just Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky, two deep periwinkle colors that do work together perfectly.
In addition to Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky, I also added in a bit of Highland Heather. To create this look, you’ll need a large stamp (Prettiest Medallion used here), three ink colors (Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky, and Highland Heather used here), Blending Brushes, and a Stamparatus.
