I had a very fun weekend in Nelson teaching at the Extravaganza down there! Today’s share is one of the projects they got to do (taught by Trish Beveridge)- a remake of a different card I made earlier with the Sheltering Tree. This time I’ve used the Healing Hugs stamp set and incorporated a few embossing techniques:
The flower in this set is reminiscent of the SaleABration flower we had a few months ago with its extreme detailing for an almost photographic look. I think Stampin’ Up! has just hit it out of the park with these new style of stamps (called DistInktive stamps).
The stamped part is then covered with a mixture of 50/50 Clear Embossing Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and heat set. I just love the combination of a bit of sparkle with vintage!
I love this project so much I decided to make this one for my swap on the Alaskan Cruise next month. I hope they love it, too! Give this one a try; supply list below.
