The challenge I gave myself was to use many of the fabulous products in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue in a non-Christmas way. A sampler is one of my “go to” layouts because it allows for many pictures, a clean design, to use up bits and pieces, lots of flexibility, and the chance to showcase quite a few products:
I chose Mint Macaron, Basic Black and Very Vanilla as my colour palette. Rich Razzleberry adds a tiny accent in each square.
I just adored this stamp from Thankful Forest Friends – what a lovely saying, perfect for home decor, cards, and layouts. I’ve stamped it here in multiple colours to pull the palette together.
How fun to have a shaker element on a page! I used sequins and microbeads here. I will miss the Black Glimmer Paper – be sure and stock up on that goody before it retires in a few week’s time!
I’ve had a flower like this in mind for months! I’ve used the Festive Flower punch to make a bit more “delicate” flower by using Vanilla and hollowing out some of the petals. This punch is so versatile!
Love these Sleigh Ride Edgelits! I didn’t use the sleigh one, of course, but the trees and the houses. Snip the smoke off of the houses to make them more “general”. The sentiment is from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit – nice to use the stamp set for other things than just the kit.
There is still time to order your supplies for projects or to give as gifts! I also do vouchers if you prefer.
