Gold Embossed Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape

Today’s share is a simple card with a real wow element – gold embossed Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape! The Extraordinary Flora stamp fits perfectly over the washi tape images, and then all the elements can be cut out, also perfectly, with the one die for super quick crafting.

I’ve used the Extraordinary Flora washi tape, but here’s the twist: I’ve gold heat-embossed right over the washi tape for a luxurious touch. The Extraordinary Flora stamp is designed to line up perfectly with the washi images, and the coordinating die cuts out all the elements in one go—easy, fast, and fabulous!

Because washi tape has a “waxy” surface, it doesn’t really accept ink very well. So I went to Versamark and gold embossing powder – and wow!

Tip: Use the emboss buddy generously (anti-static bag). You can see a little peek of the silver option where I didn’t use it well = lots of silver speckles in the negative space.

I had leftover card bases from the So Much To Celebrate card kit, and they were perfect with the printed leaves and the gold stripes! I have made a scrapbooking layout with this kit, but didn’t use this particular card base.

Between the card base and the washi tape, this card went together very quickly and easily. And it looks rich and elegant!
