Friendly Seagulls Hey, Friend Card: New Two-Toned Cardstock Techniques
Today’s share is possibly my absolute favorite project I made with the SaleABration offerings for 2025. I used the Friendly Seagulls stamp set, and paired it with the fabulous, new Two-Toned cardstock for a really great effect:

Love it? I do! Even better: the Friendly Seagulls is FREE with qualifying order with me during February!
The Friendly Seagulls is a stand alone stamp set, but these cuties are pretty easy to cut out, especially if you don’t include those spindly legs. I’ve sat the seagull on top of a pier made from the log from the Otterly Amazing Dies.
You may have other nautical dies, too. They would likely pair very nicely with the Friendly Seagulls stamp set.

I loved how these piers / logs turned out. Because I used the two-toned cardstock, I was able to get a few different tones of brown. In addition, I could sand them a bit to bring out the white core. Fun!
In fact, I did an entire online class with the two-toned cardstock, which includes the measurements and instructions for this project (plus four more!). Check it out! I think you’ll love it and feel really confident and excited to use the two-toned cardstock in your projects.

I thought I’d have a little fun with the inside, too. This is a great way to use some of those Valentine’s sayings all year round. (You could even remove the “be” so it sounds less Valentine’s Day).
