Fault Line Technique – with Meant To Bee
Today’s share is a fun technique I learned at my recent team retreat with my Stampin’ Up! team (such a great weekend – join us next time!). Everyone share a project and some ideas with everyone else, and Julia Martin taught us the fault line technique. I just had to come home and have a play with this idea right away!

This technique is quick, easy, and requires no special tools! The exposed area in the middle is a great spot for a bold patterned paper, a fun background technique, or even a patchwork of paper scraps—like I’ve done here.
For this bright and cheerful card, I used the Cute as Can Bee papers along with the Meant to Bee bundle. I love how playful it turned out! I can’t wait until my granddaughter is old enough to send her a sweet card like this!

I used the Two-Toned Cardstock for this project, which adds an extra touch when using the Fault Line Technique—you get that subtle white detail along the torn edges. It’s not essential, but I love the added contrast it creates!
