I've been having a fight with the internet this morning, so apologies for being rather tardy.
And it was the first day of school! Girls were very excited.
This month the Guest Artist team was given the Scallop Notes found in the Summer Mini catalgoue. I've taken on the challenge, too and have come up with a few designs that I'll post through the month.
I gave each of them two in case of disasters (hey, it happens to all of us!), but Narelle has successfully made two here:
The first card features a retired stamp set from last year that I can't recall the name. (Post in comment section please if you do!) She's coloured and stamped the bird stamp with the Stampin' Write Markers and also stamped and cut it out from another piece for 3-D look. Very nice!
The Baja Breeze scallop note has a cool background – stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder and Dazzling Diamonds. It's a neat, subtle effect – thinking some great wedding cards with this technique.
The flower image is probably from the same stamp set as the bird – stamped in Pink Passion and glitter and button added.
Narelle also did a job on the envelope, slipping the side seams apart (floss is great for this) and added some punching and a Baja Breeze liner. Very nice!!
Thanks, Narelle!
