Today’s card is inspired by Christine Versluis, and her fun idea of incorporating the Cat Punch with the Whimsical Trees stamp set. You might know, I just adore cats, so anything featuring a cat is a winner to me!
Now the ornaments in the Whimsical Trees set are not broken, like they are in the project above. So how does one achieve that look? I’ll show you in the video below, but it’s really quite easy.
Simply mask the bottom of the image so part of the ornament(s) doesn’t stamp out. Then use the Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to draw on a broken edge.
You could leave them just black and white for a different look, but I wanted to add just that bit of color with the Stampin’ Blends. You could also add a bit of Wink of Stella, if you wanted.
