Today’s share is another fun idea for using your Circle Punches. I’ve also designed this card for the Colour Inkspiration Challenge, using Pretty Peacock, Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, and Granny Apple Green:
I love this bedroom!
For my card, I’ve stared with a card base of Crumb Cake. (I started with white, but felt it was too stark for this particular design and color combination).
This is a fun way to use your circle punches! Just cut one circle of several sizes, cut them in half, and layer them as shown.
The middle section won’t look great, so use a looooong sentiment to cover. This one is from the Sending Smiles stamp set.
The Granny Apple green is slight; I’ve used Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers) to color in three pearls. I would normally never select a green embellishment on a card that has no green on it, but I actually quite like the contrast of a new color.
I’m realizing just now as I’m writing that I have Lost Lagoon ribbon, which isn’t in the color palette. I’m hoping the admins let me slide in if I call it “light Pretty Peacock”??? Oops.
