Easy and Unique Way to Make Paper Flowers
I enjoy participating each month in the Global Stampin’ Video Hop, and this month our assignment was to make a video featuring paper flowers. I pondered quite a while on what I could make that was just that bit different to the usual stamped paper flowers, and I remembered this fun idea from years ago:

Use your heart punches or dies! Each heart folded in half creates a petal. Cute!
I found our current heart punch to make a very large flowers for the card I had in mind, so went with the three smaller hearts found in the Give It a Whirl die set. I also love the stitched edges as an added detail.

I tried another version with neutral cardstock for more of a dried flower effect. While putting it together, I had the idea of making it into a shaker card, so that’s an option, too.
