During our time of lockdown here in New Zealand, the lovely Shannon West of Utah, USA shared with us her Double Wonder class! We had a fun morning crafting with her over Zoom, and I re-created the class and shared with my customers as well.
What is Double Wonder? Have heard of a One Sheet Wonder? It’s where one would take one sheet of 12×12 patterned paper and make a stack of cards with it (and coordinating cardstock). So a Double Wonder is taking two half sheets of patterned paper and doing the same. It’s that little bit nicer because then you have four prints to mix and match rather than two (assuming your paper is double sided). So here is my first lot of cards:

I chose to use the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Papers. I like the subtle, but fresh, colour palette. And the tiled prints have actual texture!
I added a layer of embossing to some of the cards with the coordinating Mosaic folder – perfect!

This style features a folded back front with strips of the Designer Series Paper on both the inside and the front of the card. I added that extra little layer of embossing.
The words are from the Seaside Notions stamp set and done in Early Espresso.

Another style is with three panels of the Mosaic Mood papers – and this is where having four prints to choose works quite well. I made some of these horizontal and some vertical – either looks great!
I had a basket of ribbon on the table, too. A project like this is great for using up those odds and ends.
